Today, Samsung Malaysia just teased a new product for its smart TV lineup. Not exactly a new TV but rather, Samsung TV Plus that was advertised in its newsroom and it may be coming for the Malaysian market.
According to Samsung, it is expanding its 8K ecosystem for Samsung TVs. With Samsung TV Plus, users will be able to enjoy movies, NFT artworks, and entertainment viewing in 8K resolution. We think the 8K viewing would be enhanced by its processor but also indicate that there would be some shows made for 8K. This should also apply to YouTube, with YouTube videos in 8K inside Samsung TV plus.

On the other hand, the Samsung TV Plus would allow users to purchase and view NFT artworks in 8K as well. Of course, this goes without saying but you would need a Samsung 8K TV to do so. Besides that, Samsung said 8K gaming would be coming to the 8K ecosystem too, supporting enhanced contrast, auto HDR remastering, FreeSync Premium Pro and others.
Samsung also seems to be highlighting the Samsung Neo QLED 8K TV, which indicates that only this product has Samsung TV Plus. This TV model features 7680 x 420 resolution, 24/30/60 FPS, over 600 nits of peak brightness, HDMI 2.1 ports and High-Efficiency Video Coding. Anyway, you can enter the newsroom here to read more about it.
By the way, Samsung TV Plus is free but it wasn't that clear if the Malaysian market is eligible for it. But what do you think? Let us know in the comments below and until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
