In case you missed it, Samsung Malaysia just launched two new gaming monitors - the Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD and G8 G80SD. These two gaming monitors are now available for purchase at the prices of RM3,999 and RM5,999 respectively,
In terms of tech specs, the Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD has a 27-inch OLED panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio, QHD resolution (2560×1440), a 360Hz refresh rate, and a response time of 0.03 milliseconds. It also features AMD FreeSync Premium Pro which can avoid tearing effects on your video game graphics and reduce input latency for fast responses.
To protect the panel from burn-in, it is equipped with Samsung's OLED Safeguard+ which consists of a dynamic cooling system, thermal modulation system, logo detection and taskbar and can display a screen saver. There are a couple of ports at the rear too which include an RGB light, 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and 3x USB 3.0 ports.
Next, the Odyssey OLED G8 G80SD has a 32-inch OLED panel with a 4K resolution (3840×2160), a 240Hz refresh rate, and a response time of 0.03 milliseconds. The design and functions are the same as the G6 G60SD, but one difference on the G8 G80SD is the NQ8 AI Gen 3 processor which is found in Samsung 8K TVs to produce great images with AI. The monitor also supports the Smart TV Apps app with AI.
Customers who are interested in getting the Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD or G8 G80SD can get a Keychron Q1 Hot-Swap RGB mechanical keyboard (worth RM799) for free. However, they must do so before 18 July 2024, while stocks last.
