Samsung Releases Galaxy S4 Game Pad Controller

Taking advantage of the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone's awesome processing potential, Samsung have also released a Bluetooth Wireless gaming controller along with it. While last year's Samsung Galaxy S3 was more than enough to handle even today's Android 3D first person shooters, the much more powerful Samsung Galaxy S4 should appeal to the gamer looking for a smartphone. As such, it only seems apt that there is a gaming controller for it as well.

The controller layout looks a lot like an early XBox game controller with its blue, green, yellow and red control buttons but seems to lack the weight of more traditional controllers. This gaming controller is made from plastic and latches on to the Samsung Galaxy S4 like a dock. It connects wirelessly through a Bluetooth connection and is powered by two AAA batteries. For now, the controller is only compatible with games from Samsung's app portal, and since it can only hook up to a single Samsung Galaxy S4, multi-player gaming is out of the question. The controller is expected to be released around May but there are yet no details regarding pricing. Hopefully by that time, Samsung have managed to work out the multiplayer kinks and make it more compatible with non-Samsung endorsed games. As usual, we will update the site if there is any news.
