Today, Samsung Malaysia announced the launch of its newest Smart Monitor lineup – the new M8 (M80C) and M7 (M70C). These monitors cost RM3588 and RM2788 respectively, but there's a limited-time price launch promo with up to RM700 off until 9 July 2023.
According to Samsung, customers get their hands on these newest monitors at a discounted price. After deducting RM700, you can get them at just RM2888 and RM2238 respectively which is quite a good deal considering the features. Speaking of features, here are some of the details you should know.
Introduced with a new Iconic Slim Design, the M8 and M7 models are super slim, measuring 11.39mm at the thinnest point on the monitor. The stands are height-adjustable the screen can also pivot 90 degrees. In addition, the M8 and M7 come with UHD resolution with 400nit and 300nit brightness respectively, supporting colour coverage up to 99% sRGB colour gamut.
On top of that, the 2023 Smart Monitor M8 has 4K resolution, and HDR 10+, as well as a Smart Hub for services such as Prime Video, Netflix and YouTube. Speaking of that, the M8 and M7 both include built-in voice assistants, including Bixby and Amazon Alexa, enabling users to control the monitor with their voice. Far-field voice is also supported in the M8 and M7 models with a built-in mic, allowing users to speak directly to the monitor.
