Looks like Bank Muamalat users are in for a treat. After years of Samsung Wallet (formerly Samsung Pay) being available in Malaysia. Bank Muamalat has finally announced that their customers can now also use Samsung Wallet. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, even though Samsung Wallet has been available in Malaysia for a while, it is still limited to a few selected banks and cards only such as CIMB Bank credit cards, Public Bank debit and credit cards. The service is also available for Maybank debit and credit cards and a few others.
Leave your wallet behind and pay with Samsung Wallet. Use your Bank Muamalat Debit-i or Credit Card-i straight from your Samsung phone or Galaxy watch.

In addition, thanks to Bank Muamalat’s announcement on X, we now know they are the first fully Islamic Bank to support Samsung Wallet. Customers who can use this feature are those who have a Debit-i or Credit Card-i card . To use it , you need to have a Samsung Galaxy device and a Galaxy Watch (optional) > open the Samsung Wallet app > press the + icon > follow the instructions and enter debit or credit card details.
We have yet to confirm other details on the subject. Hopefully, everything will be sorted out soon
