If you are an owner of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series or the Note 20 series, this news might excite you. Previously, Samsung announced that the One UI 6 update is only available for recent devices. However, that could change very soon.
For your information, Samsung has released the One UI 6 update (Android 14) recently. As of now, Samsung has confirmed these devices will get the latest Android 14-based software. In case you didn’t know, that includes devices such as Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S22 series and the latest S23 series.
Interestingly, in a blog post about the best tips for the Galaxy phone camera post One UI 6 update, Samsung listed the Note 20 and S20 series alongside other devices in the footnote. These devices are listed by Samsung as devices that will get the One UI 6 camera upgrades.
We have yet to confirm other details on this matter or if Samsung confirms this. So, you might want to take this rumour with a pinch of salt. However, if this is true, it would be a massive upgrade for the older flagship devices.
