Samsung allegedly has a lite version of Galaxy Tab S6 up its sleeve

Tablets may not be all exciting these days, but Samsung continues to make them for the people who still appreciate having bigger screens. While the Galaxy Tab S6 from last year has some beefy specs that make it a powerhouse, it's not really the most affordable for a tablet. Fortunately, Samsung has plans to launch a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite that will be easier on your wallet.

According to Android Headlines, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will look the same as the standard variant. It's expected to have an Exynos 9611 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and internal storage of either 64GB or 128GB. In addition, it should come with an S-Pen that can be wirelessly charged, Android 10 out of the box, and a price tag speculated to be around USD 399 (~RM1674).

For your reference, the Galaxy Tab S6 is officially available in Malaysia for RM3099. So, if the Lite is priced as speculated, it would be close to half of the normal Tab S6's price. That's great if you want a tablet that's larger than the Galaxy Tab A series but wouldn't kill your bank balance.

Of course, this is still considered speculation and we don't have official word on any launch dates though Android Headlines claims that it will be in the next few weeks. But would you consider this tablet if it makes its way to Malaysia or would a new Tab A series model be more affordable for you?
