
There are leaks surfaced on the internet which Samsung and Xiaomi are going to adopt a 120Hz refresh rate screen onto their upcoming devices. According to sources, Samsung is expected to adopt the technology in its highly anticipated Galaxy S11 series, and Xiaomi is already testing it out for commercial use next year.
Samsung was supposed to release the Galaxy Note 10 series with a 90Hz screen this year with all the rumours going on. However, the tech giant somehow skipped it and it was kinda disappointing for some of the Samsung fans. Now, rumour has it that the Galaxy S11 series is going to be using the 120Hz screen (Surprise!). It is expected to be the same for the Galaxy Note 11 series in the future as well if Samsung really pulled off with that.
Another China tech giant, Xiaomi, has also been spotted testing the 120Hz refresh rate screens on their upcoming devices as well. Some of the photos have been leaked showing that users are allowed to switch between 90Hz and 120Hz in the setting on MiUI 11. If it is true, we can expect to see Xiaomi smartphones featuring 120Hz screens next year.

Both of these popular smartphone manufacturers are aggressive when it comes to adopting new technology into their devices. With these rumours appearing on the internet, it becomes more exciting to see better smartphones to be released in the future.
