Samsung announces TM Roh as Acting Head of Device eXperience Division and other new leaderships

After the passing of Han Jong-hee, formerly co-CEO of Samsung Electronics, the company announced some new changes within the ranks. This includes TM Roh and other company executive members.

According to Samsung, TM Roh, the Head of the Mobile eXperience (MX) Business, will also now serve as the Acting Head of the Device eXperience (DX) Division. Before this, he was the President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business and Head of the Corporate Design Center. In addition, Samsung also created a new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the MX Business, and Won-joon Choi was nominated to take the role.

In addition to Won-joon Choi's current roles, he is also the Head of R&D Office and Head of Global Operation Team of Mobile eXperience Business. He was formerly the President and Head of R&D Office and Head of Global Operation Team of Mobile eXperience Business. Last but not least, Cheolgi Kim was named the new Head of Digital Appliances Business. He was previously the Executive Vice President and Head of Strategic Marketing Office of Mobile eXperience Business.

The late Han Jong-hee passed away due to a heart attack and died at a hospital last Tuesday (25 March). He was in charge of the company's consumer electronics and mobile devices division. He was 63 years old.
