Is Bixby going to get replaced by Galaxy AI? Samsung didn't mention anything about that but it does sound like it. The company just released a statement that "a new era of Galaxy AI is coming" and here's what we can expect.

According to Samsung, Galaxy AI was designed to empower everyone everywhere. In fact, Samsung sounds pretty confident that no other "company can harness AI's potential like Galaxy". Galaxy AI will be a universal intelligence on your phone like you've never seen before, from barrier-free communication to simplified productivity, and creativity.

It seems that Galaxy AI will be integrated as a mobile AI experience, to be powered by both on-device AI developed at Samsung and cloud-based AI enabled by other collaborations. One of the features that it can do is using AI Live Translate Call as a personal translator on the spot in both audio and text formats.

Samsung said Galaxy AI is coming early next year which could be around the same time as the Galaxy S24 series. Speaking of that, the next-gen Galaxy S24 series may actually be equipped with Galaxy AI together but nothing has been confirmed yet. So until then, we have to wait and see about that.
