Samsung could be equipping the Galaxy S24 & S24+ with an Exynos chipset

When it comes to reputation, Qualcomm's Snapdragon tends to be favoured more than Samsung's Exynos. So with this news, Samsung fans may have to brace themselves for some alleged bad news.

Typically, the Galaxy S series would get the Snapdragon chips in the US market while the rest of the world uses an Exynos chipset. While that was not the case for Malaysia last year with the Galaxy S23 series, sources say only the Galaxy S24 and S24+ may be equipped with the Exynos 2400.

What about the Galaxy S24 Ultra? Well, it could be the only model getting the Snapdragon 8 Gen. This could be how Samsung plans to revamp the Galaxy S24 series and possibly for the first time, include both Snapdragon and Exynos chipsets for the lineup. It's also reported that this strategy could be launched in South Korea, North America and Europe.

Since this is just rumours, it may be best to take this piece of news with a pinch of salt. Until then, we won't know until Samsung confirms it. The next Galaxy Unpacked should be released in early 2024.
