Samsung could be showcasing the foldable smartphones at Samsung Developer Conference 2018

According to Samsung Mobile division CEO DJ Koh, Samsung has plans to launch a foldable smartphone this year which could double as a tablet when unfolded with a completely different user experience to boot. The foldable Galaxy device, although complicated to develop and manufacture, is expected to make its debut at the Samsung Developer Conference some time around November 2018.

There were is information given regarding the tech specs and features that will be coming along with the foldable Galaxy smartphone as well as the availability date. From what I can tell for now, the device is expected to be priced higher than current flagship smartphones due to research and design cost.Samsung isn’t the only manufacturer who plans to develop a foldable device, previous reports stated that even OPPO, Xiaomi, and even Huawei has plans to manufacture such device as well.
