Today, an insider posted an interesting screenshot from Samsung on his X post (formerly Twitter). As you can see in the cover image, it seems that Samsung was working on an all-around full screen and may plan to release it in the future.
There is little information about this all-around full-screen feature. But according to the slides, it has no bezels at all and uses 3D lamination for that "waterfall" build on all the sides. Samsung also integrated an edge brightness control and we assume that the volume control may get the same treatment.

Additionally, sources also mention that Samsung is working on improving the under-panel camera so that there won't be any need for a punch hole or cutouts. They want the front camera concept to have high transmittance of up to 50% and an optimised pixel structure. This is so that, on paper, the front camera can take good photos without sacrificing some parts of the all-around full screen.
Samsung has not made any official announcement about this yet and this is probably just a concept that the engineering team is working on. We won't be surprised if this becomes a reality one day so until then, we just have to wait and see.
