When Apple became the first phone company to ditch the charging brick, it didn't take long for many tech enthusiasts and other brands to mock its decision. However, other brands also started imitating Apple's method and that includes Samsung.

Although there's no official word yet, a few mobile retailers in Europe have reported that a few selected Galaxy A-series models won't come with a box. According to sources, the Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23 are the first to start in the lineup. Rumours have it that the Galaxy M23 and Galaxy M33 could also be affected.

In 2021, Samsung ditched the charging brick as well for the Galaxy S21 series. Just like Apple, Samsung also said it was for the sake of sustainability and has plans for other lineups during an interview. Whether it's really for the environment or whatnot, we won't be surprised if there aren't any more chargers coming in the Galaxy A and Galaxy M series boxes.

That being said, we won't be surprised if Xiaomi does this too and so as other brands. But what do you think of having no chargers for the mid-range and entry-level devices? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
