When charging your smart devices, you either do it the wired or wireless way. Under the wireless charging option, there are also different methods for users to power up their phones including charging through other's phones, a wireless charging pad, or those wireless charging-supported power banks. Now, Samsung might be going to present a new idea for you to wireless charge your devices and it's through a ring. Yes, you don't have to rub your glasses, it's a ring!

According to a patent filed by the Korean tech giant recently, the company might be working on a ring that can be powered by users' movement to wireless charge other smart devices such as smartphones or smartwatches. It is mentioned that the ring comes with a magnetic disc that moves around to generate electricity.

When using the ring to charge other devices, it is said that the users only have to position that one finger with the ring above where the wireless charging coil is located in the device. Therefore, it looks like we don't have to carry a huge power bank around in the future to charge our smartphones. However, the problem is how much battery can that tiny ring hold? For now, it is still a patent and nothing can be promised regarding the availability of the product in the future.
