The Covid-19 pandemic has changed a lot of things. Other than just our lifestyle, the world’s economic status has also been greatly affected as some businesses and productions need to be halted at this moment. Recently, we have also seen some companies postponing their product launches to later this year or even next year. However, it looks like Samsung will still stick to its original plan which is they will launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy Fold 2 in August.

According to some sources, Samsung has no plan to postpone the launch of the said devices and the August's UNPACKED event will still be held as usual. Of course, the event will not be an on-site event packed with people. Instead, the company is going to launch the products exclusively online.

Taking things into consideration, there is no certainty that Samsung’s supply chain will not be affected by the virus outbreak. If the situation gets even worse, there are still chances that the company will postpone the launch to a later date. Therefore, don’t keep your hopes too high. Other than that, it is also worth mentioning that the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is rumored to be cheaper than its predecessor, are you excited to see the device?
