Samsung has launched the Galaxy Book4 Edge Series, a new line of Windows on Arm laptops featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chipset. This device will be available in 2 variants -14-inch and 16-inch models. The Galaxy Book4 Edge offers the ultimate in portability with the 14-inch version weighing just 1.16kg and 10.9mm thin. That said, what should you know about it?
For your information, the 16-inch model is thicker and slightly heavier at 12.3mm and 1.55kg. Both models feature AMOLED displays with 3K resolution (2880 x 1800 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 120% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 400 nits brightness for SDR content and 500 nits for HDR content. Streaming-wise, this device might be great for your movie-watching experience.
Additionally, it supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) technology for tear-free visuals and has 10-point multi-touch capability. The Galaxy Book4 Edge series is equipped with 16GB of RAM, and a battery with a capacity of 55.9Wh for the 14-inch model and 61.8Wh for the 16-inch model. That should give you plenty of power for your casual needs.
Both models offer two USB4 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port and a 3.5mm audio jack for connectivity. The 16-inch version adds further functionality with a USB 3.2 Type-A port and a microSD card reader.
