One of the essentials for people working or studying from home is probably the webcam. With that said, Samsung has launched a new monitor that comes with a pop-up webcam for you to use when needed and hide it when it's not meeting hours.

The Samsung Webcam Monitor S4's HD camera placed in a pop-up mechanism can be revealed by "pushing it down into the monitor to make it spring up," Samsung says. Other than that, the monitor also has a built-in microphone and 2W speakers, everything needed for online meetings. The webcam supports Windows Hello as well by letting the users access the computer with biometric sensors for the face.

Samsung Webcam Monitor S4 has a 24-inch display with Full HD (1920×1080) resolution and a 178-degree horizontal and vertical wide viewing angle. The monitor is also Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) compatible to let it work with monitor arms or other stands. Furthermore, the ports include HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, and its refresh rate goes up at 75Hz. The Webcam Monitor S4 will also be releasing in Europe, South Korea, and South-East Asia other than the US.
