The last time that we posted about this news was late April and not much is known about the supposedly Samsung Galaxy A8 Star and Galaxy S8 Lite (Hmm, shouldn't it be the S9 Lite? It makes more sense). Well, thanks to some internal information about the devices from TENAA and 3C. We have a better look at the tech-specs.

Falling under the model number SM-G8850 and SM-G8750 respectively, the Galaxy A8 Star will serve as a mid-range device featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and an Adreno 512 GPU, the memory capacity is at 4GB + 64GB and it has a pretty big display, standing at 5.8-inch display with a 3000mAh battery and Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

Next, the Galaxy S8 Lite will also have a Snapdragon 660 processor, battery and memory capacity as the former, we also got to know that its camera behind is 12MP but not sure if it's for dual or just a single sensor. Also, the list hints that both phones will have fast charging technology, as the output for both is 9.0V output at 1.67A (15W).

One more thing, it seems that Samsung will only release these phones for the China market too on 21 May 2018. Would you like these devices to come into Malaysia? Stay tuned for more Samsung news at TechNave.com.
