Samsung might stop producing the SATA SSD Storage

According to reports, Samsung will cease production of SATA SSD storage for consumers. So, what should you know about it?

Price hikes could cause production to stop

This was said by Moore's Law is Dead, which often sees leaking information at a fairly accurate rate, where they say that Samsung will eventually stop producing SATA SSD storage completely.

Moreover, SATA SSD storage is not as popular as it once was among computer builders, with most of them already using M2 SSD storage as their primary choice, but SATA storage is still widely used by computer builders, especially those used by small, medium and corporate companies.

If it is true that Samsung will stop producing SATA SSD storage, it means that the price of these components will also increase, and may make the price of more "affordable" computers even more expensive.

Although Samsung has not issued an official statement yet, Moore's Law is Dead says that a number of component suppliers have said that the matter has been known before, and is not a new decision.
