Apparently, after years of teasing the Samsung YOUM flexible display, a Samsung patent for one such device has been made. Dug up by LetsGoDigital, the patent describes a flexible and foldable colour screen that rolls up into either a cylinder or rectangular case that may have a fingerprint sensor, controller and power source.
This device made an appearance on the Samsung YOUM flexible display commercial.
No news whether it is a device or phone or the rumoured Samsung Galaxy X itself but it could well be a media reader or portable display for now. Whether or not it arrives in CES 2018 is also doubtful but it would be the best place to do so. Stay tuned to TechNave.com and we'll keep you updated.
