Samsung releases the roadmap for One UI 5.0 update

Samsung has kickstarted the rollout of the stable Android 13 update to its devices. The company announced the roadmap for the devices eligible for the One UI 5.0, and it has begun with the Galaxy S22 series.

The Galaxy S21 will be the next batch getting the update in November. Meanwhile, the Korean firm also aims to push the update to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Tab S8 series, Galaxy Tab S7 series, Galaxy Quantum 3, Galaxy A53 5G, and Galaxy A33 5G next month.

After those mentioned devices, Samsung will continue with the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy Tab S7 FE, Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G, Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, Galaxy A Quantum, Galaxy A Quantum 2, Galaxy A52s 5G, Galaxy A51, Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A42 5G, Galaxy A32, Galaxy Jump, and Galaxy Jump 2 before the end of this year.

The roadmap extends to next year, consisting of Galaxy Tab A8, Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, Galaxy Tab Active 3, Galaxy Buddy 2, Galaxy Wide 6, Galaxy Wide 5, Galaxy Buddy, Galaxy A23, Galaxy A13, Galaxy M12, and Galaxy Xcover 5 in January. In February 2023, the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro will only get the taste of Android 13. Other eligible devices not mentioned will receive the update later in the year.

It's worth noting that the roadmap is for the domestic market, which is South Korea. International release might vary, but not much. Therefore, those with these devices can still expect a similar time frame to get the update. Stay tuned to TechNave.com for the latest tech report.
