Samsung releases their first gaming monitor - the CFG70 with Quantum Dot curved display starting RM1699

Today, Samsung Malaysia Electronics has entered the Malaysian competitive gaming scene by launching a new Quantum Dot curved display - the CFG70 Gaming Monitor. This also marks as the company’s first ever gaming monitor utilizing Samsung’s Quantum Dot technology, which is priced at RM1699 for the 24-inch model, and RM2099 for the 27-inch model, customers can now pre-order the gaming monitor at Lazada from 19 - 26 January 2017.

The CFG70 expresses a 125% sRGB spectrum, with an added 3000:1 contrast ratio and even amplifies previously-hidden gaming details in both light and dark settings. Combining with Samsung’s advanced motion blur reduction technology with its VA panel, it can produce a 1ms moving picture response time (MPRT) and reduces display transitions between moving and animated objects. Furthermore, the gaming monitor also integrates AMD FreeSync Technology over HDMI functionality to synchornize the screen’s 144Hz refresh rate.

On the design aspect, the “Super Arena” design features a 1800R curvature and 178-degree ultra-wide viewing angle, to match the natural curve of the human eye. it was even named as a recipient of Good Design Awards by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP). The monitor also complements FPS, RTS, RPG and AOS mode to suit the gamer’s gaming and immersing experience.

The first 100 customers who pre-order the CFG70 gaming monitor during 19 - 26 January window period, will be granted a free gift worth up to RM264. The gaming monitor will be available for offline purchase at selected retail outlets starting 27 January 2017 onward.
