After hearing several rumours, Samsung's first 5nm chipset Exynos 1080 has finally debuted in China today. Not only that, it looks like the rumour saying that the vivo X60 will become the first device to have it might also come true, as the company has announced vivo as the strategic partner for the chipset. Now, let's come find out how powerful is the new Exynos 1080!

The 5nm Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset uses a new CPU architecture core as well as the 1 + 3 + 4 architecture. It includes one 2.8GHz A78 large core for peak performance, three 2.6GHz A78 cores for balanced processing, and four 2.0GHz A55 medium cores for efficiency. The latest chipset has no doubt integrated with millimeter-wave dual-mode 5G as well for the standard today. It is mentioned that its single-core performance has been increased by 50% while the multi-core performance increased nearly twice.
