On top of all the high-end monitors, Samsung says that they’ll also be showing off their Flex Hybrid display at CES 2023. Combining a foldable display that unfolds to a 10.5-inch display with a slide-out display that becomes a larger 12.4-inch screen, the device is targeted as a prototype for future laptops.
The Flex Hybrid will offer a 4:3 aspect ratio when unfolded into the 10.5-inch display mode. When it slides out all the way to a 12.4-inch screen it will offer a 16:10 aspect ratio, so you can choose between widescreen or normal viewing.
Previously, Samsung showed off their similar 17-inch Slidable Flex Duet display at Intel Innovation 2022 showcasing this sliding display tech. The Slidable Flex Duet was initially a 13 to 14 inch display that expanded into a 17-inch large screen slidable display.
Other interesting Samsung Display tech could include the AD-OLED 2023 for 77-inch, 65-inch, 55-inch, 49-inch and 34-inch displays. The new OLED HyperEfficient EL material is set to improve color brightness to more than 2000 nits while also reducing power consumption.
There’s also the New Digital Cockpit, so that truck drivers and other vehicle operators can WFH instead of actually being in their vehicle. Which Samsung Display tech caught your eye? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com.
