Samsung’s New Energy Efficient Lineup for Europe Debuts at IFA 2024

During the IFA 2024 event, Samsung showcased its latest energy-efficient appliance lineup for the European lifestyle. The new product range includes a BESPOKE AI Washer with A-55% extra energy efficiency, a Bespoke AI Laundry Combo that achieves an A rating for the complete cycle, and an A-10% Bespoke Dishwasher.

Among the lineup, the BESPOKE AI Washer has a high-energy rating which consumes up to 55% less energy than the minimum energy efficiency requirements for a Class A rating. The core of these advanced technologies is the Bubble Shot, which pulls soapy water through the circulation pump and sprays it on top of the laundry inside the drum. It combines with Ecobubble™ and algorithms to enhance extra energy efficiency.

In addition, the 7-inch LCD touchscreen serves as an intuitive control centre for the laundry. Users can quickly choose their laundry cycle and receive their personalised washing recommendations based on their habits and periodic needs. The company also showcased the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo which combines a washer and a dryer in a single machine with an A-20% for washing, the highest level in Samsung's combo lineup in Europe.  

Meanwhile, below are three other energy-efficient appliance features that Samsung displayed at IFA 2024:

  • The Bespoke Dishwasher - Saving energy by up to 10% than the requirements for an A energy rating.
  • A WaterJet Clean - Can generate a flow path to make the product exceptionally power efficient and uses only 7.9 litres of water, which is a significantly low level compared to conventional models
  • The Active Fan Dry system - Part of the WaterJet Clean product, it enhances internal air circulation, leading to less energy consumption.

The Bespoke Dishwasher is currently available in several European countries and the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is set to launch in select European countries in the fourth quarter of this year.
