Every year, Samsung will release a different rendition of its classic ringtone ‘Over the Horizon’ for the launch of its Galaxy S series smartphones. The ringtone has been remade into various music categories including rock, pop and orchestra. This year, it is no different. Ahead of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, Samsung unveiled the acoustic-covered ringtone which was inspired by nature.
The new ringtone has been added with subtle sounds of water running and birds chirping, which is accompanied by a nearly 4 minutes long video that was uploaded on YouTube. Also, the sound effects have made the classic ringtone to become new and refreshing again compared to the previous ones.
Last year, the team had also worked with Academy Award-winning composer Steven Price on S10's version of ‘Over the Horizon’. They have filmed the video with a professional freediver Ai Futaki as well off the shores of Sipadan Island in our country (Malaysia Boleh!).
