Samsung has showcased a flexible OLED Panel that is claimed to be unbreakable based on the video. The Flexible OLED Panel seems to be attached to a plastic window which allows the display to flex and absorb shock and dissipate without damaging the display panel. In the case of a glass window, it will shatter and be potentially dangerous to the user as the glass shards may injure the user.
There was even a test in the video where they would use a rubber mallet to hit the display but it does not show any physical damages. Off video, it is even dropped up to 1.8 meters in height, higher than military standards and yet it still does not showcase any form of damages.
