Samsung showed off several new technologies during the First Look 2021 live stream

During Samsung’s First Look 2021, Samsung unveiled many new technologies to improve accessibility as well as various ways to be more eco-friendly this year. We can expect everything that was announced during the aforementioned live stream to be found on various Samsung products such as Smart TVs, and more in the near future.

First off, Samsung gave us a quick look at Eco-packaging, encouraging customers to upcycle their Samsung packaging into something equally as useful such as a cat house, storage unit, and more. Other than that, they also showcased the solar cell remote control which can help reduce the usage of up to 99 million batteries worldwide.

In terms of improving accessibility, Samsung unveiled the SeeColors feature for those with colour vision deficiency, Colour Inversion, as well as Audio Description for those who are unable to visually see the content on screen. But that’s not all, there’s the Sign Language Zoom which displays a sign language area by up to 200% so that it is much more visible.
