Samsung Taiwan recently revealed a teaser video of what looked to be a metallic Samsung smartphone. Many speculated that this could be the next Samsung Galaxy S5, especially as the metallic looking back seemed to fit with all the rumours of a metal body Galaxy S5. However, it appears that this smartphone is actually the Samsung Galaxy J. Three clues point to this as the use of a capital J in all the phrases such as "Just simple" or "Just for you" all point to the Samsung Galaxy J. The other clue is that the teaser video was released by Samsung Taiwan, supposedly where the Galaxy J will be next unveiled.

The last and most significant clue is that if you keep close eye on the image of the smartphone at the 8 second mark you can see the model number SC-02F written on the side, which matches with the Samsung Galaxy J model number. While this may have popped a number of bubbles for Galaxy S5 buyers out there, the Samsung Galaxy J is still a very worthy smartphone with tech specs that include LTE-A, a Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB of RAM. The teaser video reveals the announcement date as 9 December 2013 (which is today). No Malaysia release dates or pricing just yet but do check out the video for yourself below:
