Yesterday, the new One UI 7 software update was supposed to roll out globally, but it seems that Samsung pulled the plug. While Samsung did not make any official announcement as to why it was stopped, sources said it was due to a serious bug.
Popular leakster @UniverseIce tweeted that the serious bug led to the suspension of the rollout in all countries, including China. Other sources also reported that the bug was only spotted on the Galaxy S24 series so far, and no confirmed bug issues were found on the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6.
A Samsung spokesperson did reach out to the media, sharing that the "One UI 7 rollout schedule is being updated to ensure the best possible experience. The new timing and availability will be shared shortly." But how soon? Again, no timeline is given, but according to @UniverseIce, it could be pushed out to the Galaxy S24 series today.
While no formal announcements have been made yet, it might be worth checking out any One UI 7 updates in your settings if you are using the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. If not, then we will have to wait and see.
