Samsung is known for launching special editions of a particular lineup, such as the recent Galaxy S24 FE last month. That said, the company just announced that another new Galaxy device will launch on 21 October 2024.

Very little information was given on Samsung Korea's newsroom page, as it only mentioned the date. However, there is an embedded short video. It's only 12 seconds long but enough time to give us a glimpse of a new Galaxy Z Fold model. What's different about this one is that it is so thin that it can be slid underneath a door inside an envelope.

According to sources, this foldable device is claimed to be the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition. For context, the original Galaxy Z Fold 6 measures 5.6mm (unfolded). So, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE will be even thinner than that and potentially lighter as well. As for the tech specs, it's also possible to have the exact same things, except for the processor and battery life.

As intriguing as it may be, rumours have it that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE could only be exclusive to the Chinese and Korean markets. We don't need to wait too long for that so until then, stay tuned for the official news coverage at TechNave.com.
