Based on a statement by LetsGoDigital.com, it seems that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphone could be developed in collaboration with Olympus. While not much is known in regards to the exact release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is available in the local market.

Other than the collaboration, a previous leak stated that the smartphone in question will most likely come equipped with up to a whopping 200MP image sensor instead of their second generation 108MP image sensor. With that being said, we could be moving into an era where smartphone companies are collaborating with camera manufacturers in order to get a leg up in the photography department.

However, do take every bit of information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Samsung, as well as Olympus, has yet to provide an official statement on the leak. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs for now.
