Samsung unveils new 65W Trio Adapter for ~RM252, supports USB Power Delivery

As you know, smartphone brands have been excluding charging adapters for some devices. Samsung has been doing the same for its Galaxy S series smartphones. Fortunately, the company does sell the adapters separately, and now there's a new triple port charger that's available for Samsung fans.

Earlier today, a new Samsung charging Adapter popped up on the Samsung US website. As its name suggests, the 65W Trio Adapter allows you to charge up to three devices at a maximum power output of 65W. For example, you could charge a Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, and Galaxy Buds Pros all in one go. In addition, this adapter supports USB Power Delivery, which means it would work for other devices that charge via USB (such as laptops).

Of course, charging multiple devices means that the 65W power output would be divided accordingly. If you're charging three devices, the power output would be 35W+25W+5W. For reference, the Galaxy S22 Ultra supports up to 45W of fast charging. In other words, the charging speed would be slightly slower if you're charging multiple devices.

The 65W Trio Adapter is currently unavailable in Malaysia. But we do expect its local retail price to be close to its price in the US, which is USD59.99 (~RM252). Would you buy one when it's released here? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about it.
