The longer you own a product, the more you wish it would do certain things. Having new features added is always nice and that's what Samsung is doing for the Galaxy Buds wireless earphones. Today, the company announced that it has added some of the features found in the Galaxy Buds+ to the Galaxy Buds.

Samsung's Galaxy Buds+ is a second true-wireless earbuds model that the company has made. While it hasn't changed much in terms of exterior design, the new model comes with longer battery life, improved call quality, and better sound quality. But more importantly, its software comes with some additional software features that were previously not available in the Galaxy Buds.

A total of 3 new features were added to the older Galaxy Buds: Microsoft Swift Pair, Ambient Sound, and the Tap & Hold gesture. The first one allows you to pair your Galaxy Buds to a Windows 10 PC, while Ambient Sound lets you hear your surroundings even while you're listening to music or a movie on the earbuds. As 'Tap & Hold' gesture, it allows you to launch Spotify with a single press of a button.

These features will be available to all Samsung Galaxy Buds owners through a software update, so do check in on the Google Play Store to see if you have the update. With this, the Galaxy Buds are (in our opinion) a very good deal now at RM349. Would you go for this cheaper model now or still prefer the newer one with more battery life?
