Samsung updates wearables with Under Armour fitness apps

Today at CES 2017, Samsung Electronics has announced their new collaboration with Under Armour. The purpose of this new partnership is to offer fitness experience, by combining Samsung wearable devices with Under Armour’s connected fitness expertise.

With the Samsung Fit2, Gear S2 and Gear S3 under their belt, the fitness apps will be available as part of the Under Armour Connected Fitness suite including UA Record, MyFitnessPal, MapMyRun and Endomondo. Along with the integration, Samsung will offer unique functionalities to users of the Gear Fit2, Gear S2 and Gear S3.

On top of that, Gear Fit2 users will have access to the UA Record, MapMyRun, and MyFitnessPa® apps starting 4 January 2017, as well as the Endomondo app which will also be available for Gear Fit2 in January. Gear S2 and Gear S3 users will also be able to download the suite of apps in early 2017 with complete features.*
