Based on a statement by sammobile.com, it seems that Samsung will be manufacturing Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 875G and Snapdragon 735G chipsets using their 5nm EUV manufacturing process. With that said, our source mentioned that the transistors on the 5nm process are about 25% smaller compared to 7nm which allows manufacturers to pack more transistors on the chip.

With all that said, there is currently no information on which smartphones will come equipped with any of the chipsets mentioned above. Not only that, but there’s also not much information in terms of the performance increase when moving to a 5nm manufacturing process.

Do take some of the information mentioned with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Samsung and Qualcomm have yet to provide an official statement on the leak. Furthermore, there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, and local pricing of the devices to come with the chips.
