Samsung also won awards during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 with a "Best Connected Consumer Electronic Device" award for the Samsung Gear S2 and the "Best Smartphone 2015" award for their Samsung Galaxy S6 edge from GSMA at the Global Mobile Awards. The Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge weren't mentioned at this point, but these devices also won awards from various tech industry awards such as techradar and others.
