These days, USB flash drives are the most common of tech devices, however, there are still some rather interesting USB flash drives around like the new SanDisk Connect range of flash drives. Coming in 16GB and 32GB for the smaller SanDisk Connect Wireless Flash Drive and 32GB or 64GB for the SanDisk Connect Wireless Media Drive, these devices allow you to stream movies, music and files wirelessly much like a NAS but in a more portable form. Both devices can deliver streaming to up to 8 different devices regardless of OS as it is compatible with Windows, iOS and Android.
On top of more space capacity, the Media Drive offers a bit more by offering a SDHC/SDXC microSD slot for further expansion. The SanDisk Connect Wireless Flash Drive is available at $49.99 (RM159) for the 16GB version and $59.99 (RM191) for the 32GB version. The SanDisk Connect Wireless Media Drive on the other hand is priced at $79.99 (RM254) for the 32GB version while the 64GB version comes in at $99.99 (RM318). No news when it would be available in Malaysia but it would likely be in Q4 of 2013.
