Samsung Malaysia posted a video on their Youtube channel mentioning that the A series will be replacing the Samsung Galaxy J series. We aren’t surprised at this year only brand new phones from the A and M series have been released.
The video emphasises some key aspects that we can expect from the Samsung Galaxy A series which are long battery life, fast charging, a variety of different of lenses for the camera and on-display fingerprint scanners. So far, Samsung has released the Samsung Galaxy A30 and A50 in Malaysia with the Samsung Galaxy A90 due to be launched tomorrow. Outside of Malaysia there’s also the Samsung Galaxy A10, A20 and A70 as well. We can expect the Samsung Galaxy A60 and A80 to be launched during Samsung’s Unpacked event as well.
The Samsung Galaxy A series are smartphones with flagship features at an affordable price price point. From what we’ve seen, the Samsung Galaxy A30 and A50 in Malaysia has been priced much more affordably than some of the better known affordable brands out there.
The Samsung Galaxy J series is still due to be receiving support from the Korean manufacturer such as the Android Q update but it is unsure for how much longer the smartphone range will continue receiving support. Recently, Redmi has just halted support for 7 of the devices. So are you going to trade up your J series for the A series? Keep up with the latest Samsung news on TechNave.com!
