Yesterday, the explosion at Taman Putra Permai 1, Putra Heights, Subang Jaya, made headline news all over the internet, causing damage to properties, the environment and nearby vehicles. Today, it was announced that Chery, an EV brand from China, will lend 50 cars to the victims.

This was confirmed by Selangor Executive Councillor Ng Sze Han today, as the initiative is an effort to aid over a hundred families who were affected by the explosion. As mentioned earlier, a few houses and cars were destroyed by the explosion from a gas pipe, which belongs to Petronas.

It is not known when the aid can begin by Chery, nor what kind of EV model the company will provide, but Ng said the application will start in the next few days. She also said that several families still need to go to work and send their children to school, so action must be taken.
