One of the most annoying things to do is heading over to the post office just to have something mailed out. Finding the time to go was a hassle, looking for parking was a hassle and queueing was a hassle. Now, those days are gone thanks to Pos Malaysia’s new service, SendParcel.
SendParcel is an online shipping platform. It can book deliveries, generate shipping labels and make bulk orders online. It’s fairly simple to use as well. All users have to do is sign up, print out the consignment note once the booking is made and attach it to the parcel.
Packages for consumers are priced at RM50, RM100 and RM500. As for businesses, it comes with larger package options priced between RM1000 to RM20000 and comes with bonus credit. Credits can be used to make a delivery booking. These prices vary due to size, weight as well as the destination of the packages.
So far, the service is only available for domestic locations. Pickups can be arranged from either the user’s home or office as well to make things more convenient. What makes this service more convenient is the fact that users are able to get shipping rates instantly as well as tracking.
Now that we can shop online and send things through online portals, I guess at one point we truly never have to leave our homes to do anything. What do you think of this service? Keep up with the latest tech news in Malaysia on TechNave.com!
