For fans of Sennheiser, the Momentum True Wireless 2 launched in March was the premium option to go for. But if your budget isn't as big, you might want to check out the company's latest offering. Sennheiser has announced the CX 400BT True Wireless yesterday, a more affordable True Wireless Stereo (TWS) model.

According to Sennheiser, the CX 400BT True Wireless will use the company's 7mm dynamic drivers that will deliver "deep bass, natural mids and clear, detailed treble". From the description, it should be the same drivers found in the Momentum True Wireless 2 have, so you can expect the audio quality to be comparable. Besides that, it's supposed to have 7-hour battery life with an extra 20-hours via the charging case.

In terms of features, Sennheiser's new TWS model will come with touch controls on each earbud, with the functions customisable via the Smart Control App. Speaking of the app, you can use it to adjust the audio output using an equaliser too. However, the new model lacks active noise cancelling, which was removed to lower the cost.

The CX 400BT True Wireless is expected to launch in the US on 15 September 2020 for USD 199.95 (~RM830). We don't know when it'll launch in Malaysia, however, so you'll have to wait for news.
