When it comes to headphones, a lot of people don't know how the good the expensive ones can sound without experiencing it. But Sennheiser looks to aiming to bring down that audiophile entry barrier. The company has unveiled its new HD 560S headphone, which is said to provide audiophile class quality for a lower price.

According to Sennheiser, the HD 560S was designed for "the analytical audio enthusiast". To be exact, its sound signature is tuned to deliver more natural sound that aims to be accurate to the source. You can tell from the description that it would be an affordable alternative for those who need to do recordings or mixes. For listening to music, you could always adjust the EQs to your personal preference.

In terms of specs, the HD 560S has a frequency range of 6Hz to 38kHz. That's an incredibly wide range that will cover low bass and high treble with greater accuracy. For comparison, most headphones you see have a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz. It does have an impedance of 120 ohms, so you'll probably need an amplifier to drive the headphone.

Sennheiser's new headphone should be out by 29 September 2020 for USD 200 (~RM834). And since the company has a presence in Malaysia, it may make its way here too!
