Today, OPPO Malaysia has finally revealed the OPPO Reno smartphone in Malaysia. Slated at the price of RM1999, the pre-order for the device will start tomorrow (17 May) as mentioned from a few days ago and customers can collect it on 28 May 2019 with a free Smart Battery Case, an extended one-year warranty and a screen protector.
As for the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom model, this one will come at a later date at 27 May 2019 and the price is yet to be unveiled as well. But if we have to guess, it will certainly cost more than this for having an extra periscope that can zoom up to 60x. Speaking of zooms, the standard Reno won't have any zooms but its camera performance is already quite good.
The Reno uses a 6.4-inch AMOLED Panoramic display with no camera notch in sight (+ an in-display fingerprint sensor). The back is where the 48MP + 5MP dual rear camera is with an amazing texture and design
OPPO integrates an unusual pop-up 16MP front camera mechanic where an LED sensor and Face Unlock sensor are. The top speaker is also right there
On the bottom, they managed to squeeze in a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C and speaker grill. The volume and SIM card tray are on the left, while the power button is on the right side
Besides that, it also packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 256GB storage, 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 Charging technology, ColorOS 6 (Android 9 Pie) out of the box and NFC connectivity. For colour model options, there's Ocean Green (the one we have now) and Jet Black. This also means that the Nebula Purple and Pink Mist is on the 10x Zoom model.
