Sharp Aquos Zero 5G Basic & Aquos Sense 5G release: 240Hz screen with Android 11

Currently, Sharp is the only company that brings smartphones with 240Hz screens to the market. After launching the Sharp Aquos Zero 2, the tech giant is now back with the Sharp Aquos Zero 5G Basic that comes with such a high refresh rate screen. There is also the Sharp Aquos Sense 5G being launched as well and both of them will have the latest Android 11.

 

Sharp Aquos Zero 5G Basic

Starting with the Aquos Zero 5G Basic, it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset paired with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It also sports a 6.4-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. As mentioned, the display supports a 240Hz refresh rate and has an integrated fingerprint reader as well.

For photography, the device comes with a triple-camera setup that brings a 48MP main sensor, a 13.1MP wide-angle camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens. On the front, there is a 16.3MP selfie camera placed in a teardrop notch. The connectivity features will include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port. It also has a 4,050mAh battery on board.

Sharp Aquos Sense 5G

The Sharp Aquos Sense 5G is more on the budget level with a Snapdragon 690 5G chipset. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. For the 120Hz screen, it uses a 5.8-inch IGZO LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.

For photography, the device has a triple-camera setup as well that brings two 12MP sensors and an 8MP sensor. On the front, there will be an 8MP selfie camera in the teardrop notch. It is powered by a 4570 mAh battery and certified with an IP68 rating. The connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and USB-C.
