Sharp could become the biggest supplier in terms of iPhone displays

Based on a statement by gizchina.com, it seems that Sharp might become Apple’s largest supplier of iPhone display starting this year onwards. While not much is known in regards to which device will come equipped with the displays from Sharp, our source did mention that Sharp reportedly spent $390 million to purchase the JDI Baishan Factory.

With all that said, do take some information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Sharp has yet to provide an official statement on the reports.
