Today, Shopee Malaysia just made an announcement about unsuccessful order fees for all the sellers online. What does this mean? Well, it means sellers online would have to pay a return postage fee should the items get refunded and returned.

On the official website, unsuccessful order fees will be charged by the logistic partners if the orders are approved for a return/refund. This will begin on 9 May 2022 and it covers the Forward Shipping Fee (FSF) and/or Return Shipping Fee (RSF). However, the sellers can try to dispute the return/refund with convincing evidence if it's not their fault.

For the sellers to be charged with FSF and RSF, the item must be proved damaged, faulty, incomplete, wrong or counterfeit. Shopee Malaysia also mentioned that they won't charge sellers if the logistics partners were responsible for the damage. Additionally, the delivery cost for failed collection at the Collection Point will be handled by Shopee itself in terms of self-collection.
