Shopee has been willing to increase sales commission fees for sellers several times before. Most recently, Shopee announced a new adjustment for commission fees effective March 6, 2025. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, the new commission charges are not seen to be much different from the existing commissions. However, the changes are seen to apply more to fashion and FMCG items. Shopee says that a usage fee for its marketplace platform will be charged to sellers who use it for more than 120 days. Shopee says that this fee will be used to continue improving its platform services and functionality, as well as for several buyer support expansion programs.
We have yet to confirm other details on the news. So, we should wait for more confirmation from Shopee. Hopefully, everything will be sorted out soon.
