Moreover, plans are available for up to 31 days, with prices starting from RM3.50. This gives travellers a more affordable and convenient way to access mobile data without needing a physical SIM card. Getting started is straightforward. Users can head to the eSIM section in the ShopeePay app, select their destination, choose a data plan and travel duration, then complete the purchase. Once purchased, the eSIM can be activated through the app using direct activation, a QR code, or manual setup.
Furthermore, the new Travel eSIM service joins ShopeePay’s growing list of travel-related features. Besides mobile connectivity, users can also book flights and hotels, as well as purchase travel insurance through the app. With everything available in one place, ShopeePay aims to make travel planning and staying connected abroad more convenient for its users.
